Business days from today
What date is 10, 30, 60 or 90 business days from today? The table counts every common number of business days from today in your browser, excluding weekends and, in the second column, US federal holidays as well, next to the holidays that made the difference and the span in calendar days. Each count has its own page with the date from every day of the week and from the first of each month.
The dates are counted from today's date when the page loads. If this line has not changed, JavaScript is off: use the business days calculator instead.

How business days from today are counted
Today is day zero. The count moves forward one day at a time through Monday to Friday, so one business day from a Friday, a Saturday or a Sunday is the following Monday, and five business days from any weekday is the same weekday a week later. The second column also steps over the federal holidays below, so a window that contains Thanksgiving ends a working day later than the weekdays-only date. This is the rule the business days calculator applies and the rule spreadsheets use: =WORKDAY(TODAY(), 30) gives 30 business days from today, and a third argument of holiday dates excludes them (WORKDAY function, Microsoft).
The counts are a federal baseline, not a promise about your deadline. A contract or a court rule says whether its business days skip holidays, which holidays, whether the first day counts, and what time the window closes. Calendar days from today are a different count again, weekends included, which the days between dates calculator gives. For the working days from today to the end of the year, or in any month, see the working days pages, which count 2026 and 2027 month by month with the same holidays.
US federal holidays in 2026 and 2027
These are the dates the with-holidays column steps over, as the Office of Personnel Management publishes them for federal pay and leave. When a holiday lands on a Saturday most federal employees get the Friday before, and when it lands on a Sunday the Monday after, which is why some dates differ from the holiday's own.
| Date | Holiday | Observed |

| Thursday 1 January 2026 | New Year's Day | On its own date |

| Monday 25 May 2026 | Memorial Day | On its own date |
| Friday 19 June 2026 | Juneteenth National Independence Day | On its own date |
| Friday 3 July 2026 | Independence Day | 4 July 2026 is a Saturday, so Friday 3 July is the holiday |

Questions people ask
How do you count business days from today?
Start from today as day zero and count forward through Monday to Friday only, skipping Saturdays and Sundays, until you reach the number you need; the day you land on is the date. To skip public holidays as well, step over each holiday that falls on a weekday inside the window. This page does both from today's date in your browser.
Is 'business days from today' the same as 'working days from today'?
In everyday use, yes: both mean weekdays with the weekend left out, and both usually leave public holidays out too. A contract can define either term more narrowly, for example as days a bank is open, so when the deadline matters read the definition in the document.
Does the count include today?
No. Today is day zero and the first business day is the next weekday, which is how 'within 10 business days of receipt' is normally read and how the WORKDAY function in spreadsheets works. If your document counts the day of receipt as day one, take one off the number before you look it up.
Which holidays are taken out?
The US federal holidays the Office of Personnel Management lists for 2026 and 2027, on the weekday they are observed, as in the table on this page. State holidays, religious holidays and company closures are not included, and other countries have different lists, so treat the with-holidays date as the federal baseline.
How many business days are left until the end of the year?
The working days pages count the working days left in 2026 and 2027 from today, with the same federal holidays taken out, and show every month's count. For a count to any other date, the business days calculator counts between two dates.
